In 1973, my mother Barbara Hierlihy King was one of the original members of the Bellaire Area Historical Society.  Following in her footsteps, I joined the BAHS in 2019, where I became a member of the Board and then President in 2021.

    Our purpose is to bring together people interested in history, especially the history of the Bellaire area.  Everyone interested in history is welcome to join … you don’t need to be a native of the area.  If you. haven’t been to the Bellaire Museum, please come and visit us.  And if you have been to the museum, please come again as we are going to be changing some of our displays this year.
