The museum has only a few issues of Gladys Carey’s newspaper “The News Advertiser”, which started in business about 1960. If you have any copies of these, the museum would benefit from access to the information in them.
Resources for Research:
- Military records of local veterans from the Civil War through WWII. More mlomited records from later wars.
- Local American Legion notebooks starting from the 1930s.

- Files relating to Bellaire businesses
- Files relating to Bellaire buildings
- Many vintage Bellaire related photos and postcards. It would be nice to add more to our collection if you have any we could copy or keep.
- Cemetery records, early vital records,1897 and 1910 Antrim County Plat Books
- Books related to local history
- Bellaire High School Yearbooks. We still need many including: 1946 & earlier; 1953-56; 1958; 1959; 1962; 1964; 1969; 1972; 1975-79; 1981; 1986-90; 1993; 1996; 2006 and beyond. Please let us know if you have any of these to donate. We have class lists and photos from almost all years.
